Nomination of Beneficiary forms

Nomination of Beneficiary form no longer accepted starting May 1

Nomination of Beneficiary forms that you submit to us after May 1 will be returned to you.

Nominating a beneficiary in My Account is quicker, easier and more secure than through the paper form. Employees can nominate persons, trustees and organizations, and can update their beneficiary information anytime. Keeping their information accurate and up to date ensures their final wishes for their pension benefit will be followed.

Next steps

  • Recycle paper copies of the Nomination of Beneficiary form.
  • Encourage your employees to review and update their beneficiary information in My Account.
  • Provide your employees with the member information sheet, which contains information about the plan website and My Account, including how to register. If your organization has a welcome package for new employees, print a copy of the sheet and include it in the package.

Purchase cost and pension estimators

Reminder: purchase cost and pension estimators discontinued

The personalized purchase cost estimator and the personalized pension estimator were permanently removed from the secure employer website March 8, 2019, because of a technical upgrade.

Your employees can access both estimators in My Account. The estimators in My Account access employees’ current pension account information when calculating estimates, so employees have to enter fewer details manually and will get more accurate estimates.

Message Centre in My Account

Making the online experience better for your employees

Starting May 12, 2019, your employees who are plan members have a new secure way to get in touch with the plan – Message Centre in My Account.

Message Centre saves members’ messages and our responses, and members can reference their saved conversations anytime.

Members will receive an email notification when we post a response in Message Centre, so please encourage your employees to keep their contact information—especially their personal email address—current in My Account.
