Nearly one-fifth of plan investments are in bonds (a source of safe fixed income) and about 12.5 per cent are in developed market equities, which include, most notably, shares in companies involved in the information technology, financial and industrial sectors. Plan investment holdings are structured to minimize investment risk and achieve consistent long-term results.
