Canada Dental Care Plan

Did you or your dependent(s) receive an eligibility form from the Canada Dental Care Plan (CDCP)? We can help.


Request a CDCP letter

The form you received from Health Canada indicates that a letter from the pension plan can be provided in place of the form itself to confirm your CDCP eligibility.

Step 1: How to request your letter

  • If you have access to MyAccount:
    • Sign in to My Account and go to Message Centre.
    • Send us a message requesting a letter that confirms you waived or cancelled dental coverage with the pension plan on or before December 11, 2023.
  • If you do not have access to MyAccount:
    • Email the same request to retired@pensionsbc.ca
    • Please include 3 of the following pieces of information: 
      Name
      Address
      Phone number
      Date of birth
      Person idenfication number (PID) 

Note: Do not mail your form to us, as the deadline to return information to CDCP is short.

Step 2: Receive your letter

We will respond to your inquiry with the completed letter attached within 14 days.

Step 3: Send the letter to CDCP

You will need to print and send the letter to CDCP by the deadline indicated on the letter from them.
