If you waived or cancelled dental coverage with the Public Service Pension Plan, here’s what you need to know:

Before December 11, 2023
You may qualify for CDCP. The proof of eligibility letter can be used as supporting documentation if CDCP requests proof of eligibility.

On or after December 11, 2023
You are not eligible for CDCP under their eligibility rules.

Enrollling in the pension plan's dental coverage?

To enrol in Public Service Pension Plan dental coverage, you must:

• Apply when you retire, or
• Provide proof that you had continuous and comparable coverage with another provider and apply within 60 days of that coverage ending

Note: CDCP coverage does not qualify as comparable coverage.
