Meet the Public Service Pension Board of Trustees
BC's Public Service Pension Plan is jointly sponsored, managed by trustees appointed by the employer partner (Government of BC) and the member partner (British Columbia General Employees’ Union). The trustees themselves appoint a chair and vice-chair. The board appoints trustees to serve as directors of the BC Pension Corporation, the plan’s administrative agent, and BCI, the plan’s investment agent.
The mission statement of the Public Service Pension Board of Trustees is to provide sound plan governance and prudent oversight of plan assets and administration to ensure plan members receive a secure pension.
