Apply to transfer service from the RCMP pension plan

Send us a form to start the process of transferring service from the RCMP pension plan.

What you need to know

Before you apply, please review How to transfer service between public sector pension plans for important details and considerations.

The deadline to apply to transfer service from the RCMP pension plan is:

  • While you’re an active member in the Public Service Pension Plan, and
  • Within three years of joining the Public Service Pension Plan.

Submit the form

  1. Complete the Request for Transfer Estimate (RCMP to PSPP) [PDF] digitally, or print and sign the form.
  2. Upload a copy or a photo of the form using My Account Message Centre.
  3. Submit your ID in My Account > My profile > Personal information

By submitting this form, you’re not obligated to transfer your service.

What happens next

We’ll contact you through Message Centre if we need anything else from you. You’ll receive an email notification when there’s a new message in My Account.

You can check the status of your request at any time in Message Centre.

The next time we contact you will be to send you a package (Appendix B) through Message Centre. This package explains how much service we’ll credit you from your former plan and the next steps if you choose to proceed.

Note: The Appendix B package can be complex and you may require additional support from our trained Reciprocal Transfer Team (RTT). Send your questions through My Account Message Centre.
