Phone
Due to the ongoing BCGEU labour action and the nationwide Canada Post strike, our call centre is closed and we are now only processing urgent time-sensitive priority requests that impact income continuity.
We respect that all inquiries and requests are important. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
Our priorities are:
- Monthly pension payments
- October and November retirement applications
- Death benefits
- Banking updates
- Shortened life expectancy payouts for October and November
Members:
If you have an urgent matter that is related to one of the above priorities, use Message Centre in My Account to send us a message. If it is not urgent or related to the list above, we ask that you wait until after the labour action is resolved. Requests submitted through Message Centre will have a timestamp that we can track and prioritize as urgent vs non-urgent. We will continue to prioritize applications for new pensions to maintain income continuity.
If you have not yet registered for My Account, we assure you that it's a simple 5 minute, 5 step process. All you need is your Person ID which is found on the annual statements and any letters we send you through the year. To help you prepare, read how to Register for My Account.
Non pension plan members only:
If you are not a member and your request is urgent and related to one of the priority items listed above - particularly around income continuity, please email pensioncorp@pensionsbc.ca for assistance. We will assess and prioritize your request for processing. If your inquiry is not urgent, we ask that you wait until after the labour disruption to contact us.
Non-urgent requests or requests received from members who have access to my account received from the email address above will NOT be processed and should be resubmitted through Message Centre or, if non-urgent, at the conclusion of the labour disruption.
If you are contacting us to register the death of a plan member, please fill out the form on the Tell us if a plan member dies page.
