My Account tools

My Account easily and securely meets your employees’ nomination of beneficiary needs

Nominating a beneficiary is an important part of your employees’ estate planning. My Account, available on their plan website, helps make the nomination experience easier. By logging on to My Account and using the nomination of beneficiary tool, your employees can nominate combinations of persons, trustees or organizations, and update their beneficiary information.

Plan members need to register for My Account to access the nomination of beneficiary tool. It’s quick and easy. Instruct members to go to the Teachers' Pension Plan website and, under the My Account Section, click Log in to My Account, and then Register Now. They will need their Person ID number, located on their recent Member’s Benefit Statement.

Encourage your employees to use My Account to nominate their beneficiary and make updates. Keeping up-to-date and accurate information ensures final wishes for their pension benefit are followed.

Reminder

You can eliminate paper nomination forms for newly enrolled employees. Encourage employees to register for My Account and nominate a beneficiary online when they receive their enrolment package.
